Management

INSAN’s management team is led by its Executive Chairman. Under the Executive Chairman, there is Executive Director who reports to Executive Chairman  and is responsible for the overall management of the organization.

The Executive Director is supported by the manager programs and team of coordinators/managers of different sections/programs of the organization and they jointly form a management structure for INSAN

Approach And Strategies

INSAN strongly believes in the true and active participation of all key stakeholders – particularly the local communities or program beneficiaries. Fair efforts are taken to ensure that stakeholders participate and contribute at all the stages of the interventions.

As its strategy, INSAN particularly focuses to ensure the maximum participation of volunteers, women, children and youth wherever required and relevant – and particularly if the program has any direct or indirect impacts on their lives.

INSAN, as its overall implementation approach, takes carefully into account the local culture and traditions and fully respects the same.

Following are the key elements of  INSAN Program Strategies And Work Approach:

Partnerships; Social Mobilization/Community Participation;  Awareness Raising and Sensitization; Capacity Building;  Dialogues and Engagements; Research and Publications;  Networking and Coalition Building;  Review and Reflection.

Review And Monitoring

Monitoring of projects in INSAN is always the important and priority matter. There will always be a built in mechanism of review and monitoring for all the projects INSAN are going to implement. The processes of review and monitoring are going to help INSAN in achieving the project objectives in smooth and timely manner. As the key mechanism of monitoring; the projects are monitored or are going to be monitored by the implementation teams; the coordinators / managers of the program and the management of INSAN.

Focus Group

INSAN aims to be the first on the ground when an emergency strikes, providing emergency relief and helping those affected immediately.

When war broke out, and floods, droughts or earthquakes happen, we will be there: providing life-saving food, water, shelter, medicine and toiletries to families who have lost everything.

So, our focus groups are the victims of the above mentioned disasters. We not only save lives, we rebuild them – we stick around even after the situation has calmed, helping families put their homes back together.

We don’t even stop there – where people are affected by the same disasters over and over, we think about how to lessen the blow before emergency strikes.

Geographical Focus

Worldwide, but as for now, our main focus is in Yemen and Malaysia.

Accounts And Audits

INSAN maintains its all accounts on double entry system. The Organization has developed various financial policies, systems and formats etc. which help it in effective management of all its funds and maintaining a complete transparency in receipts and payments at all levels.

INSAN gets its accounts (receipts and payments) audited by the recognized chartered accountants’ firms on the completion of projects or by the end of each financial year.
